opportunity. We welcome you to learn with us and to help us be
informed.
We actively foster
a growing progressive community here in Island County.
As such, we
are the grass roots, financially and logistically, for
Democratic candidates.
We need your support for the 2008 campaign. We will have
very important races to win: Two seats for Island
County Commissioner, our State Senator, and both of our State Representative
seats. And, of course, there
is the Congress, the Governor's Mansion, and the White House!

We had our Grand Opening on August 19, 2008. A fun time was had by all. Folks are coming in and visiting. The volunteers are very motivated.
We are working on setting up a time for discussions and are working on getting books that can be checked out. There is information on all our candidates plus yard signs to be picked up by anyone who would like to show their support of the candidates. We would like to make this office a busy hub in Oak Harbor for all Democrats.
I am still looking for more volunteers. A few good volunteer is good, many good volunteers is GREAT! Financial donations are truly needed to keep us up and running. To all who have already given so much, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. We have just begun to expand in the north end of our most beautiful island. Please come, visit with us and see if you would like to become involved.
We must take our country back, one town at a time. Oak Harbor is my challenge to you.
We are still looking for a desktop computer and monitor and one more desk and desk chair. Desk lamps would be great. Don O’Connor has the complete list of needed items.
